Description
Monitor estimated data usage per website with live totals, resource breakdowns, and local-only reports. Bandwidth Lens helps you estimate how much data websites and tabs use in Chrome. See live upload and download totals, spot heavy pages, compare usage across sites, and understand browser bandwidth without opening DevTools. Use it to monitor estimated data usage while browsing, testing web apps, streaming, troubleshooting slow pages, or using a hotspot or metered connection. Bandwidth Lens gives you: * Live estimated upload and download totals * Per-site and per-tab bandwidth visibility * Resource breakdowns for scripts, images, media, fonts, stylesheets, and other requests * Resettable totals for testing specific pages or workflows * Local CSV and JSON exports * Local-only reports with no account required Bandwidth Lens is useful for developers, QA testers, hotspot users, capped internet plans, remote workers, travelers, and anyone who wants a clearer view of how much data websites consume. Your reports stay on your device. Bandwidth Lens does not sell your data, does not require an account, and is designed to stay lightweight. Bandwidth Lens provides practical estimates based on browser-observed request data. Cached resources, compression, streaming behavior, and missing response sizes can affect totals, so results should not be treated as billing-grade network measurement.
