Convert Youtube to Metric Feet, miles, pounds and Fahrenheit, turned into Metric while the video plays. You are watching something interesting and the presenter says "about eight hundred and eighty feet". You either let it wash over you or you stop the video and go looking for a calculator. BUILT FOR READING IN PASSING Conversions are rounded to 2 significant digits, because a caption is there to be glanced at, not studied. 4 Feet becomes 1.2 Meters. 420 Feet becomes 130 Meters. Where the spoken figure was itself loose - "about six foot two", "somewhere between forty and fifty miles" - the conversion carries a ~ so you can see the precision it deserves.
