Vocab Master delivers periodic vocabulary flashcards directly to your screen with interactive cards and audio pronunciation. Choose from curated word lists (Globish Core English and GRE Advanced), listen to native audio pronunciations, and test yourself with our intuitive Quiz Mode. Key Features: • Scheduled Reminders: Set your preferred reminder interval (from 5 minutes to 2 hours) to periodically pop up a vocabulary flashcard using Chrome Alarms. • Smart Focus (Distraction-Free): Never steals focus or switches desktop Spaces while you code or work in other apps. If a reminder fires while you are outside Chrome, it politely queues and greets you with your word card only when you return to your browser. • Interactive Flashcards: Instant access to word definitions, part of speech, and real-world example usages with a single click or keyboard shortcut. • Optional Native Translations: Toggle native-language translations for words and example sentences in your chosen language (e.g. Turkish), or study in pure English immersion. • Native Audio Pronunciation: Hear accurate pronunciations with built-in Text-to-Speech audio. • Quiz Mode (Blur Meaning): Challenge yourself by keeping definitions, example sentences, and translations blurred until clicked or hovered. • Modular Vocabulary Lists: Practice with 2,260+ Globish core everyday words or 990+ GRE advanced academic words, or easily add your own open-source lists. • Per-Pack Mastery Tracking: Words marked as "No need to remind this" are saved separately for each pack. How to Use It: 1. Click the extension icon or press Alt + Shift + W (Control + Shift + W on Mac) to open the flashcard. 2. Listen to the pronunciation, test your knowledge, or view example usages. 3. Click "No need to remind this" if you already know the word, or "Next word" to shuffle. 4. Open Settings to customize reminder intervals, toggle Quiz Mode, or switch vocabulary packs.
