No more wasting time on LinkedIn. Stop scrolling. Start shipping. LOCKEDIN helps you stop wasting time on LinkedIn and turn career inspiration into real action. LinkedIn can be useful, in theory. You might use it to build your network, make posts, or see what cool things other people are up to. You scroll through posts, absorb motivation, have ideas, and leave feeling inspired. Days pass. Weeks. You tell yourself you're being productive. 0 real progress. *Enter LOCKEDIN.* Set a daily LinkedIn allowance, and LOCKEDIN tracks your active LinkedIn time locally. When your time runs out, LinkedIn is replaced with a clean block screen that asks you to turn that inspiration into action. Later, LOCKEDIN can check in and ask whether you completed that task, helping you build a light accountability loop over time. If you genuinely need more LinkedIn time, you can request it through the extension menu. LOCKEDIN asks you to pause, write a real reason, and then choose a short time extension. The goal is not to be a strict gatekeeper. The goal is to interrupt autopilot scrolling and make sure you are using LinkedIn with intention and purpose. What LOCKEDIN does: - Lets you set a daily LinkedIn time limit - Tracks LinkedIn usage only while LinkedIn is actively in use - Blocks LinkedIn after your chosen allowance is reached - Prompts you to write what you will work on instead - Adds accountability checks for tasks you said you would do - Rewards completed tasks with simple progress milestones - Allows short extensions when you have an intentional reason - Includes optional focus reminders while browsing LinkedIn - Includes an optional compact timer wheel on LinkedIn - Stores usage and settings locally in Chrome storage If you want to post on LinkedIn about something you did, you need to spend time off of LinkedIn actually doing that thing. Use LinkedIn to connect, post, apply, research, and learn. Then get off LinkedIn and lock in.
