Description
Save links, chosen excerpts and notes in a local library. Organize with folders and tags, then search and export. Save the idea and the reason you kept it. NeverZero Shelf is a small reading library on your device: a link, the excerpt you chose, your own note, a folder and tags. When you come back, you find the idea and why it mattered. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Save an item with an optional link, a title, an excerpt you paste or select, and your own note • Select text on any page, right-click and choose “Save selection to NeverZero Shelf”: the side panel opens with the excerpt and the link filled in • Right-click a link or a page to save it the same way • Get a warning when a link is already saved, with a shortcut to the existing item • Organize with folders and tags; rename or delete folders • Search titles, excerpts, notes and tags (accents ignored), filter by folder or tag • Read an item in a clean reader view, open its source, move it to another folder • Archive what you have read to keep the active list short, and restore it at any time • Export everything as JSON, or items as CSV or Markdown, and import a JSON backup after a review step HOW TO START Click the NeverZero Shelf icon to open the side panel, then choose “Save an item”. No account and no sign-in are needed. LOCAL DATA AND CONTROL Your library is stored in your browser on this device. NeverZero Shelf has no server, no analytics and no cloud sync, and its pages are not allowed to make network requests. It never fetches the pages you save: only the text you select or type is kept. Uninstalling the extension can delete your library, so export anything you want to keep. Exported files are not encrypted. Settings include a button to delete all local data. IMPORTANT LIMITS NeverZero Shelf does not download pages, previews or images, does not summarize content and includes no AI features. If a saved page changes or disappears, Shelf still shows only what you kept. Interface available in English and French. NeverZero is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
