Description
Pin products from any shopping site: title, price, link and model saved locally with price history. Free 50, Pro unlimited. VKT Item Pin is a product price tracker and shopping research extension for Chrome and Edge. Hover a product on almost any store, click Pin, and its title, price, link, model, site and date land in a local library. Open it again later and the price is recorded again without another click, so a price history builds itself while you shop. No account, no ads, no tracking. The feature that changes how you shop is automatic price tracking. Pinning a product is a one-time action; every revisit quietly adds a point, at most one per day, and the chart in the dashboard shows whether the price is falling. Set a target price and the first visit at or below it raises a desktop alert, once, with no server and no email involved. WHY VKT ITEM PIN • Hover any product on a detail page or in a search result grid and click Pin. • 24 tuned site presets for large international marketplaces and regional stores; a universal capture handles every other shop. • Review and edit the captured title, price, link, model, site and date before saving. • Pick mode fills a missing field by clicking that element on the page. • A product image is saved with every record. • Automatic price tracking: revisiting a pinned product records the price with no second click. • A target price per item, with a local desktop alert the first time it is reached. • Store a note and up to 10 tags per item; both are searchable. • A dashboard with search, date or site grouping and editable records. • A 30-day drop summary and the total value of a single-currency library. • Search the saved title on other shopping sites in one click, without retyping it. PRICE HISTORY THAT WRITES ITSELF • Pin once; later price points come from ordinary visits, not from a schedule you have to remember. • Each revisit adds at most one point per day, so repeated checking does not flood the chart. • Every capture, manual or automatic, appears in the same per-item trend chart. • Target price alerts fire on the first crossing only, so a good deal does not turn into repeated notifications. • Edit or delete a price point if a store showed a bad value; the rest of the history stays. • Mixed currencies are charted as raw values with no conversion, so you always know what you are comparing. A LIBRARY YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE • Search by title, model, ASIN or SKU, or by the link you saved. • Group by date, group by site, or view the whole library as one list. • A note keeps the reasoning — "wait for Black Friday" — next to the price. • Up to 10 tags per item, searchable and filterable. • Edit titles and models, correct or remove price points, change notes, tags and target price. • Export and import the whole library as one JSON file, notes, tags and target prices included. • A storage monitor shows real usage and warns before local space runs out. FREE VS PREMIUM Free: up to 50 saved products, unlimited price re-captures on those products, automatic tracking, target price alerts, notes and up to 10 tags, JSON backup, storage monitor, search, grouping, record editing, compare-elsewhere links and all 24 site presets. Premium (optional licence): unlimited saved products, advanced filters by site, tag, date range and price range, CSV export with notes and target prices, and a multi-item chart comparing up to 6 products. One licence key activates on two browsers, and removing the licence from one browser frees that slot again. The free plan is a complete tracker, not a trial. Re-capturing a saved product never uses another slot, even at the 50-product limit. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pin VKT Item Pin to the toolbar. 2. Hover a product on a shopping page and click the Pin button. 3. Check the captured fields, correct anything, use Pick if needed, then save. 4. Visit the product again whenever you like; the price is added to its history automatically. 5. Open the dashboard for trend charts, target prices, notes, tags and comparisons. PRIVACY FIRST • Your library, notes, tags, target prices and price points are stored on your device. • Captured product data and page content are never uploaded. • No analytics, no tracking and no account. The optional licence check is the only outbound request VKT Item Pin makes on its own. • Activating a licence is optional. It sends a random installation identifier and basic browser metadata — browser, language and timezone — to verify the key. Your library is never included. • Product thumbnails load directly from the original store's image address, so those stores see the request as they would on their own page. • Premium keeps working offline. The licence check runs roughly every two hours, and a failed check never locks you out of the free features. BUILT FOR SHOPPING RESEARCH • Desktop Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Phones are not supported. • For deal hunters, resellers, gift planners and anyone comparing a purchase over weeks rather than minutes. • Six interface languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish and French. • A dashboard that opens in its own tab when the side panel is too small for charts. Stop losing price history to closed tabs and forgotten spreadsheets. Install VKT Item Pin and let every visit keep track for you. More tools and support: https://annmax1983.com
