Generate a specific section of a webpage in a distinct popup window. Separate Windows for Google Chrome™ – Pop Any Part of a Page Into Its Own Window Ever wished you could keep just one piece of a webpage in view while you work somewhere else? A video, a live chart, a chat panel, a scoreboard, a dashboard widget – anything. Separate Windows for Google Chrome™ lets you pick any section of a webpage and open it in its own compact popup window that stays exactly where you put it. No more juggling tabs, no more scrolling back and forth, and no more losing sight of the thing that matters. WHAT IT DOES Separate Windows adds a small "Put in a popup" icon next to elements on the page. Click it, and that element is instantly lifted out of the page and shown in a distinct, standalone window. Prefer to choose manually? Press "Select" in the extension menu, hover over the page, and click the block you want. Want the whole page instead? Use "Entire Tab" to turn the current tab into a clean popup window in one click. The popup window is fully live: videos keep playing, chats keep updating, and interactive content keeps working, because you are looking at the real page, not a copy. KEY FEATURES • Pop out any element – Select a video player, table, sidebar, comment thread, or any other block and open it in its own window. • Entire Tab mode – Convert the current tab into a separate popup window instantly. • Built‑in video player mode – Turn on the player to enjoy videos in a distraction‑free window while you browse other sites. • Remembered choices – The extension keeps track of your previous selections per site, so your favorite section is one click away next time. • Window position and size – Place the popup at the top left, top right, bottom left, or bottom right corner, or let the extension decide automatically. Set a precise window size, then save the size and position so every future popup opens exactly the way you like it. • Keep a tab open or only popup – Decide whether the original tab stays open alongside the popup, or whether the popup replaces it entirely. • Smart restore – When you close the popup, restore the content into the original tab instead of creating a duplicate, or open it as a fresh new tab. • Focus control – Choose whether the popup takes focus when it opens or whether your current window keeps it, so your workflow is never interrupted. • Handy control panel – Every popup includes quick actions: back to the main window, next or previous element, screenshot, add to bookmarks, get link, switch to iframe view, or toggle the player. • Bookmark integration – Save the popped‑out section into a dedicated "Separate windows" bookmark folder and reopen it later with a single click. • Show or hide icons – Keep the on‑page icons visible for fast access, or hide them for a clean browsing experience. • Right‑click context menu – Send content to a popup directly from the context menu. PERFECT FOR • Watching a video or livestream while you work, study, or chat. • Following a sports scoreboard, stock ticker, or news feed in a corner of your screen. • Keeping a chat, support widget, or collaboration panel visible while you switch between tabs. • Monitoring a dashboard, analytics widget, or server status page. • Reading documentation or comparing products side by side. • Presenting or screen‑sharing a single clean section of a page without the surrounding clutter. WHY USERS LOVE IT Separate Windows is fast, lightweight, and simple. There is no account to create and nothing to configure – install it, click the icon, and pop something out. Your settings, window sizes, and previous choices are saved, so the extension adapts to the way you browse. The interface is clean, modern, and available in more than forty languages. HOW TO USE 1. Install the extension and open any webpage. 2. Click the Separate Windows icon in the toolbar. 3.
