Description
A tool designed to populate all input fields on a webpage with fictitious or placeholder data. Fill Forms with Fake Data – Fill Any Web Form Instantly with Realistic Dummy Data Stop typing the same test data over and over. Fill Forms with Fake Data (also known as Fake Filler) is a lightweight browser extension that populates every input field on a web page with realistic, fictitious placeholder data in a single click. Developers, QA engineers, designers, and anyone tired of long forms will save minutes on every page and hours over a week. WHY YOU WILL LOVE IT Testing forms manually is slow and repetitive: every reload means inventing another name, email address, phone number, password, and street address. Fill Forms with Fake Data does all of that for you in a fraction of a second. Click the toolbar icon, press a keyboard shortcut, or use the right-click context menu, and the page is filled and ready to submit. THREE WAYS TO FILL • Fill all inputs – Populates every visible field on the current page, including fields inside iframes, so multi-part and embedded forms are handled too. • Fill this form – Fills only the form that contains the element you right-clicked, leaving other forms on the page untouched. • Fill this input field – Fills a single field with an appropriate value, perfect for quickly plugging one gap. Each action is available from the right-click context menu and can also be bound to your own keyboard shortcuts through your browser's extension shortcut settings. SMART FIELD DETECTION The extension does not just dump random characters into boxes. It inspects each field and generates a value that makes sense for it. It looks at the field's HTML type as well as its label, id, name, class, placeholder, aria-label, and aria-labelledby attributes to figure out what the field is for. Based on what it finds, it produces: • First names, last names, and full names • Valid-looking email addresses • Phone numbers, mobile numbers, and fax numbers • Passwords, with matching values for "confirm password" fields • Street addresses, cities, and postal codes • Organization and company names • Website URLs and domains • Numbers for quantity, price, amount, income, and balance fields • Dates that respect the field's expected format • Short words, sentences, and paragraphs for free-text areas It also handles the full range of form controls, not only text inputs: text areas, drop-down selects, radio button groups, checkboxes, and even contenteditable rich-text regions. After filling a field, it fires the appropriate input and change events so that modern frameworks such as React, Vue, and Angular register the new values exactly as if you had typed them yourself. FULLY CONFIGURABLE Open the options page to tailor the extension to your workflow: • Enable or disable the context menu – Keep your right-click menu clean if you prefer to use the toolbar button or shortcuts. • Ignore fields that already contain content – Fill only the empty fields and preserve anything you have already entered by hand. • Field matching – Choose exactly which attributes are used to detect a field's purpose: labels, ids, names, classes, placeholders, aria-label, and aria-labelledby. • Default max length – Set a cap on generated text so that values never overflow fields that lack their own maxlength attribute. • Ignored field names – Provide a list of field names that should never be touched, such as CAPTCHA inputs, search boxes, or fields you always want to fill manually. • Live preview – See sample output for each data type right on the settings page, so you know what to expect before you fill a form. Your settings are stored in your browser and synchronized automatically, so they follow you across devices. BUILT FOR PRIVACY AND SPEED Fill Forms with Fake Data runs entirely inside your browser. All data is generated locally; nothing you type and nothing on the page is ever sent to an external server. The extension requests only the permissions it genuinely needs: access to the active tab when you trigger it, storage for your preferences, scripting to fill the fields, and the context menu. It is built on Manifest V3, the current extension standard, so it is fast, secure, and future-proof. The generated data is deliberately fictitious. Values are made up on the spot and belong to no real person, which makes the extension safe to use on staging environments and shared demo systems. AVAILABLE IN YOUR LANGUAGE The interface is translated into more than forty languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and many more. Install Fill Forms with Fake Data today, click once, and watch every field on the page fill itself. Your forms have never been this easy.
