Overlays SuburbLens tenure insights on realestate.com.au and domain.com.au listings. SuburbLens overlays Australian Census data on the suburb you're already looking at. Browse a suburb on realestate.com.au or domain.com.au and a compact card appears with what the Census knows about that suburb — no new tab, no copy-pasting a suburb name into another site. WHAT THE CARD SHOWS • Which way the suburb is drifting — toward owner-occupiers or toward renters • Renting share, 2016 → 2021 • Residency Shift Index — a SuburbLens custom measure of that drift • University-qualified share, and how the suburb ranks against the rest of its city • Crime incidents and city rank (Melbourne suburbs) WHO IT'S FOR Built for new immigrants and students working out where to live in Sydney or Melbourne. You can read a price anywhere. What's harder to see is whether a suburb is settled owner-occupiers or short-stay renters — and whether that has been changing. The Census has answered this for years. SuburbLens just puts the answer where you're already looking. HOW IT HANDLES YOUR DATA SuburbLens runs only on realestate.com.au and domain.com.au. On those two sites it reads the suburb name and state from the page address and sends them to the SuburbLens API to look up that suburb's Census statistics. That is the only data it transmits, and the lookup is not logged or retained. It does not read page content, prices, or saved properties. It has no account, sets no cookies, and does not track you.
