Description
Visualize and audit accessibility on any webpage. Inspect landmarks, headings, focus order, ARIA roles, and more. Accessibility Visualizer by Webability — WCAG Accessibility Checker, Auditor & A11y Testing Tool Accessibility Visualizer is a free accessibility testing and WCAG audit tool for developers, QA engineers, designers, and accessibility auditors. It overlays visual indicators directly on any webpage to reveal the semantic structure assistive technologies actually see — landmarks, headings, keyboard focus order, ARIA roles, accessible names, alt text, and form labels — and runs a full WCAG 2.2 accessibility audit in one click, without modifying the site or affecting end users. Use it to test web accessibility during development, verify ADA, Section 508, and European Accessibility Act (EAA) readiness, and catch WCAG violations before they ship. Accessibility Visualizer Toggle visual overlays to inspect accessibility structures on any webpage: - Landmarks – semantic regions (header, nav, main, footer, ARIA landmarks) - Headings – H1–H6 hierarchy with skipped-level warnings - Focus Order – keyboard tab order with numbered indicators - Accessible Names – how screen readers compute names (aria-label, labels, alt, text) - Images – alt text and decorative image detection - Links and Buttons – accessible labels, roles, and destinations - Forms – inputs, labels, and associations - Tables – headers, scope, captions, and structure - Lists – list semantics and nesting - Live Regions – ARIA live, alert, and status regions All highlights use non-intrusive outlines with no layout shift, and update automatically as the DOM changes. One-Click WCAG Audit — Dual Engine The built-in accessibility checker runs the same engine that powers WebAbility.io scans: - 60+ WebAbility detectors plus the complete axe-core ruleset (WCAG 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 — Level A and AA), deduplicated into a single result list - Confidence tiers: confirmed violations are separated from findings that need human review, so false positives are never presented as fact - Concrete fix suggestions on detector findings — the exact attribute and value to set - Per-element navigation with on-page highlighting, including elements inside shadow DOM - Works everywhere you develop: localhost, staging environments, and authenticated pages — the audit runs entirely in your browser - Built to support manual accessibility testing, not replace it Branded PDF Accessibility Reports Turn any audit into a professional accessibility report — severity summary, per-issue detail, and WCAG references — rendered as a polished PDF you can hand to a client, compliance officer, or stakeholder. Free, no account required. Optional AI Audit (free WebAbility account) Connect a WebAbility account to run a deep server-side audit of a public URL: multi-viewponshots, an AI agent that tests keyboard access and interactive flows, and a downloadable report plus Excel workbook. What This Tool Is Not Accessibility Visualizer is not an accessibility overlay. It does not alter or "fix" websicompliance, does not replace manual or assistive-technology testing, and does not inject any user-facing UI. It is a developer and auditor tool, built for understanding and validation. Who It Is For - Developers validating accessibility during build - QA teams checking accessibility acceptance criteria - Accessibility auditors reviewing structure and WCAG conformance - Agencies preparing ADA, Section 508, and EAA compliance reports - Designers verifying semantic intent - Students and educators learning web accessibility in practice Privacy Inspection and audits run locally in your browser, including on localhost and authenticated pages. No tracking, no analytics, no background data collection. Data leaves your browser only when you click: PDF generation sends your audit findings for rendering, and the optional AI Audit sends the paolicy: https://www.webability.io/privacy-policy Developed by Webability — experts in structural accessibility, WCAG auditing, and inclusive web engineering.
