Replace your new tab with your are.na feed. Grid or arrow-key viewer. Are.na New Tab replaces your new tab page with a calm view of images from are.na. Out of the box you get a rotating mix from curated channels — no account needed. Sign in to pull from channels you own and ones you follow Two ways to browse: 1) Grid view: a calm masonry of recent connections. Click any block to open it on are.na, or step through with arrow keys 2) Float view: a 3D scene where image planes drift slowly through the frame. Hover to focus, click to expand No analytics, no tracking pixels, no ads. Your access token (if you sign in) is stored locally in chrome.storage.local and is sent only to api.are.na (and a small token-exchange worker during sign-in). Open source.
