Score any page the way an AI assistant reads it. Runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, ever. When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity what to buy or who to call, the answer gets built from pages the assistant could actually read. Most pages are mostly theme, tracker and cookie banner. This extension shows you the difference, on any page, in one click. Click the icon and you get: • A grade out of 100 against the open Agent Readability Spec, with the measured/inferred split shown next to it — never a confident number over something we only inferred. • What the page weighs for an agent versus what it weighs for a browser, and whether the site serves agents anything different at all. • The three changes worth the most points, ranked by what they actually recover. • The five checks losing the most. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO Nothing is uploaded. Not the page, not the URL, not the hostname, not the result, not an identifier. There is no account, no sign-in and no analytics. The extension has no background process and no content script, so it is not running while you browse — only while the popup is open. It has no storage permission, so there is nowhere for a history of what you scanned to exist. It installs with "activeTab" and nothing else, which means it can read the tab you are on at the moment you click, and nothing before or after. We do not rank sites, publish scores, or keep a leaderboard. A score you asked for is yours. If a site's robots.txt names our scanner and disallows the page, the extension stops after reading robots.txt — even though your browser has already loaded that page. OPEN BY DESIGN The scoring spec is published at rebilder.com/spec/ars, versioned, and reproducible: the same evidence gives the same score in any implementation. The scorer is on npm as @rebilder/agent-readability. The extension bundle ships unminified so you can read what it does. If your browser does not let the scan read a particular site, the extension will ask you — once, for that one site — and you can say no or revoke it later. It never asks for access to all sites.
