Aalborg University VBN PDF batch downloader AAU VBN Batch Downloader is a side-panel tool for researchers using Aalborg University's Research Portal. It helps collect publication metadata from VBN search results and publication detail pages, resolve PDF links exposed by VBN, and organize authorized PDF downloads. Key features: - Import publications from VBN search and detail pages - Extract titles, authors, organizations, dates, publication types, DOI values, keywords, publishers, pages, citation counts, and Pure download counts when available - Fetch PDF links by visiting publication detail pages - Download selected PDFs in sequence - Rename files by Date_Title, Year_Title, or Title Only - Save files into a user-defined subfolder under Chrome's default download directory - Export collected records as CSV - Support Chinese and English interface - Store settings, queues, metadata, and download history locally on the user's device The extension does not bypass VBN, Pure, publisher, institutional, subscription, authentication, rate-limit, or file-access controls.
