VocabAct transforms vocabulary learning into a visual, engaging experience. As you read ordinary webpages, the extension identifies supported English vocabulary words and highlights them for you. Select a highlighted word to watch a short enactment video that demonstrates its meaning and practical use—without leaving the webpage. Instead of memorising isolated word lists, learners can discover new words naturally while reading. Seeing vocabulary used and enacted through video can make word meanings easier to understand, remember and use. HOW VOCABACT WORKS 1. Browse and read a normal webpage. 2. VocabAct highlights vocabulary for which a learning video is available. 3. Select a highlighted word. 4. Watch its VocabAct video directly over the webpage. 5. Close the video and continue reading. LEARN ENGLISH VOCABULARY THROUGH VIDEO VocabAct combines reading, context and enactment videos to help bring English vocabulary to life. Each supported word connects to a NutSpace video designed to make its meaning more visual and memorable. VOCABULARY LEARNING IN CONTEXT Words are easier to understand when they appear within meaningful sentences and stories. VocabAct helps learners notice vocabulary as they encounter it naturally on websites, articles and reading pages. REQUEST A MISSING WORD Cannot find a video for a word you want to learn? Select the word or short phrase on a webpage, right-click and choose “Request a VocabAct.” You can also submit a vocabulary request manually from the extension toolbar. The requested word may then be reviewed by the VocabAct team when deciding which English vocabulary videos to create next.
