Clip the page you're reading to clean Markdown and save it straight to Google Drive. Save Markdown to Drive turns any webpage into a clean .md file in your Google Drive — one click, no copy-paste, no clutter. It works like the Obsidian Web Clipper, but in your browser and on your phone. WHAT IT DOES Click the toolbar icon on any page and the clipper opens with that URL already filled in. The page is stripped of ads, navigation bars, sidebars, cookie banners, and related-post spam, leaving just the article. That gets converted to tidy Markdown and saved to the Drive folder you pick. Every clipping starts with YAML front-matter — title, source URL, and the date you saved it — so it drops straight into Obsidian, Logseq, or any Markdown vault. When you click the icon, it reads the current tab's URL and opens the clipper with it. That's all. The clipper asks for the narrowest Google Drive permission available (drive.file), which limits it to files it creates. It cannot see or touch anything else in your Drive. PRIVACY No accounts.
