Chat with Claude to control your browser Porthole for Claude puts an AI assistant in your browser's side panel with direct access to the page you're viewing. Ask Claude to read, interact with, or automate anything on the current page — in plain English. Claude calls browser tools directly — no intermediary server. All data stays local except the conversation sent to api.anthropic.com with your own key. PRIVACY No telemetry. No tracking. No data collection. Your API key is stored locally in chrome.storage.local and never leaves your machine.
