Filters Twitch video ads and hides display banners. Some ad breaks may temporarily pause playback. Twitch Quiet tries to filter ads in Twitch live streams and hide display advertising around the player. Use its toolbar popup to see filter status, change either setting, or reload your current Twitch tab. • Filter video ads, with a separate switch for display banners. • See when the filter is ready, filtering an ad break, or waiting for clean video. • Save your preferences locally in Chrome. • Turn the video filter off and reload Twitch to restore normal playback. Filtering is best effort. Ads may still appear, playback may pause, and video quality may temporarily drop. Twitch changes can stop filtering from working. “Filter ready” means initialization completed; it does not prove an ad was blocked. The filter works on Twitch’s website and embedded Twitch player. It uses no external stream proxy, extension analytics, advertising trackers, or developer-operated playback server. To filter video, it temporarily processes the current Twitch channel, playback playlists, and existing Twitch authentication/device/session values in your browser. Playback requests go directly to Twitch. Two extension settings stay in Chrome’s local storage; the adapter also preserves Twitch’s existing player preferences. These playback values are not sent to the developer. See the privacy policy for details. All features are free. An optional donation link opens Buy Me a Coffee only when you choose it. Donating does not unlock features; the extension does not receive payment details. After installation, reload Twitch pages already open. Other Twitch video blockers can interfere; use one Twitch video filter at a time. Twitch Quiet is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Twitch. Its bundled filter is derived from the MIT-licensed vaft project by TwitchAdSolutions. Support: destin4235@gmail.com
