Erase browsing history and site data from the toolbar in one click. Nuke It erases your browsing history and site data from the toolbar in one click. It cannot erase anything until you deliberately arm it. The first click opens the options page, where you review exactly what is in the blast radius and type NUKE to confirm. Only then does the toolbar button become live. After that, every click erases everything in the blast radius, across all time — no confirmation dialog, no undo. That is the point. A successful erase detonates the toolbar icon so you know it worked without squinting at a badge. The blast radius is yours to set: browsing history, cache, cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, cache storage, service workers, file systems, download history, and autofill form data are all on by default. Saved passwords are off by default — it is the one category Chrome cannot recover, so it is strictly opt-in. Nuke It can only destroy, never read. It requests no access to your history, tabs, cookies, downloads, or page contents, and it makes no network requests of any kind. Nothing about your browsing leaves your machine, because Nuke It never gets to see it in the first place. Disarming from the options page, or uninstalling, turns it off. No time ranges, no per-site rules, no scheduling, no history browsing. Nuke It ships no default keyboard shortcut on purpose — a stray keystroke should not be able to erase everything. To bind one deliberately, open chrome://extensions/shortcuts and assign a key to "Nuke browsing data". Before you hit submit, check one thing: the Notes for reviewer field, on the Distribution tab (or under "Review notes" depending on your console version). Submit going active doesn't mean that's filled — it's optional. For a one-click no-undo data destroyer it's the field that most affects whether this sails through: Nuke It ships disarmed. A fresh install cannot delete anything: the first toolbar click only opens the options page, and the button stays inert until the user types NUKE to arm it explicitly. The badge reads ARM until then. This state persists, so the confirmation is asked once rather than on every click — that is a deliberate design choice, and disarming is available from the same options page at any time. The extension holds browsingData and storage and nothing else. It has no host permissions, no content scripts, no remote code, and makes no network requests. To reproduce: load unpacked, click the toolbar icon (options page opens, nothing is deleted), type NUKE, click Arm, then click the toolbar icon.
