Really keep pinned tabs pinned by opening same-tab links in a new tab. Nailgun keeps pinned pages in place. Click an ordinary link in a pinned tab and Nailgun opens the destination in a new foreground tab. The pinned tab stays at its current address. Unpinned tabs, downloads, middle-clicks, modifier-key clicks, and links already configured to open in a new tab retain their normal Chrome behavior. Nailgun has no settings, analytics, account, advertising, or external service. It does not collect, store, or transmit browsing data. Chrome prevents extensions from running on protected browser pages, including `chrome://` pages and the Chrome Web Store. ## Single purpose Prevent ordinary link clicks from navigating pinned HTTP and HTTPS tabs by opening those destinations in new tabs. ## Site access justification Nailgun must detect link clicks on HTTP and HTTPS pages so it can protect any page the user chooses to pin. Access is used only in the browser to identify the clicked link and ask Chrome to open its destination in a new tab. Nailgun does not read unrelated page content, retain URLs, or transmit data. ## Remote code No. All executable code is included in the extension package. ## Data use disclosure Nailgun does not collect, store, sell, or transmit user data. When a user clicks an eligible link in a pinned tab, its destination URL is passed locally between Nailgun's content script and service worker solely to create the requested tab. The value is immediately discarded and never leaves the browser.
