List TODO / FIXME / HACK in GitHub files, repositories and PRs, and see how a PR changes them. TODO Lens lists the TODO / FIXME / HACK / XXX / BUG comments in the code you are looking at on GitHub. What it does - File pages: lists the items it finds; click one to jump to its line - Folder and repository pages: press Scan to see a folder tree of every item - Pull requests: change per tag (+n / −n), plus the added items grouped by file Settings Choose which tags to detect, the scan limit, auto-scan, the panel position, and an optional GitHub token. Privacy - All analysis happens in your browser. There is no server, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. - An optional read-only token lets you scan private repositories and raises the API rate limit. It is stored only on this device and is sent only to api.github.com and raw.githubusercontent.com. Good to know - It only detects a tag that follows a comment marker (// # /* -- …), so a variable such as todoList is ignored. - Repository scans use the GitHub API, which allows 60 requests per hour without a token. - node_modules, dist, lock files, files over 200 KB and Markdown are skipped.
