Find images with missing or unhelpful alternative text on the current page. AltAudit is a one-click, local image accessibility check for the current page. Open the extension on a page and run an audit to find images with missing alternative text, empty alt text on interactive images, generic descriptions, and filename-like text. Results stay in the popup and can be copied as a readable report. AltAudit runs only after you click it, uses temporary access to the current tab, and sends nothing to a server. It does not crawl browsing history, change the page, or claim to replace a complete WCAG audit. It gives designers, developers, editors, and site owners a fast, focused review of one important accessibility signal.
