Description
Hide clutter, add quick links, manage playlists and focus on what you came to watch on YouTube. Modz for YouTube is a small, private Chrome extension that lets you change how YouTube looks and works. Every mod is a switch in one panel. Turn it on, turn it off, and YouTube goes back exactly as it was. HIDE WHAT YOU DON'T WANT • Hide Feed: hide recommended videos on the home page • Hide Chips: hide YouTube's topic chips • Hide Sidebar: hide the left menu • Hide Shorts: remove Shorts from feeds and menus ADD WHAT YOU DO • Quick Links: your own shortcuts on the home page, one click away • Monthly Playlist: a button on every video that files it into a playlist for the current month, created automatically • Playlist Stats: watched and unwatched counts on a playlist page, with one-click removal of watched videos or duplicates after a confirmation • Miniplayer: brings back the button that shrinks the video into the page while you keep browsing • Auto Fullscreen: open videos straight in fullscreen when you click them FOCUS MODE A centered logo and search on an otherwise empty home page, with your Quick links underneath. Turn it off and everything goes back the way it was. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no servers, no analytics and no tracking. Your settings are saved in Chrome on your own device. The extension only runs on www.youtube.com.
