Description
Tack a sticky note onto each browser tab. It shows only on that tab and comes back if you close it by mistake. ────────────────────── When you work with dozens of tabs open, it is easy to forget what you were doing in each one. TabTack lets you attach a sticky note to each browser tab. A note shows only on the tab it belongs to and disappears when you switch to another tab. If you navigate to a different page within the same tab, the note stays with that tab. ■ How to use • Click the toolbar icon or press Alt+Shift+N (Mac: Option+Shift+N) to attach a note to the current tab • Start typing – notes save automatically • Press – or Esc to collapse the note into a small pin showing only its first line • Drag the header to move it; click a color dot to choose one of five colors • Click ✕ to remove the note • Tabs with a note show a dot badge on the toolbar icon ■ Recovery • Closed a tab by mistake? Reopen the same address within 30 minutes and the note comes back • When the browser restarts and restores your tabs, notes are restored with them (kept for 7 days) ■ Privacy All notes are stored only inside your browser on this computer. Nothing is sent to any server, and there are no ads or analytics. ■ Limitations Notes cannot be attached to pages where extensions are not allowed to run, such as Chrome settings pages, the Chrome Web Store, or the built-in PDF viewer.
