A tiny dog runs along the edge of every page as you scroll. Sits when you stop. Sleeps if you wander off. A tiny pet runs along the edge of every page as you scroll. Top of the page it is at the left. Bottom of the page it has reached the other side. It is a progress bar that happens to be a dog. Flick the wheel and it sprints. Ease down a paragraph at a time and it trots. Stop and it sits. Wander off for two minutes and it curls up and sleeps. Click anywhere and it dances. Every one of those is a switch in the popup. They are all dogs. Some of them are a cat. One of them is a duck. One of them is a horse with a problem. One of them is a cockroach. The naming is not up for discussion. The dog is free forever. The other four unlock for $4, once. Nothing renews. No account, no tracking. It reads how far down the page you are, that number moves a dog, and it goes nowhere else.
