Real-time protection against malicious AI responses, phishing bots, and scams in AI chat interfaces 🛡️ AI Safe Chat Guard — The AI Security Extension That Actually Protects You While other "privacy" extensions were caught secretly harvesting millions of users' AI conversations and selling them to data brokers, AI Safe Chat Guard does the opposite. Everything runs locally on your device, no data ever leaves your browser, no account required, no exceptions. THE PROBLEM WITH OTHER EXTENSIONS In 2025, popular Chrome extensions marketed as "AI privacy tools" were caught intercepting conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot, then quietly selling that data to third parties. One extension with 8 million users and a Google Featured badge was doing this silently in the background. Another 30+ extensions disguised as AI assistants were found stealing API keys and personal data. AI Safe Chat Guard was built as the antidote to exactly this. We protect you FROM AI threats, we don't become one. WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT Zero data collection. No account. No email. No servers. All scanning happens locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted. Open about exactly what we do and how we do it. No silent updates that change behavior. You stay in control. WORLD'S FIRST: Prompt Injection Protection The newest and most dangerous AI attack nobody is talking about: Malicious documents and emails contain hidden instructions designed to hijack AI behavior. When you paste or upload that content, the AI follows the attacker's commands instead of yours — potentially asking for your passwords, SSN, or credit card. AI Safe Chat Guard is the only consumer extension that detects and blocks these attacks: Scans text you paste for hidden injection commands Scans PDFs you upload before they reach the AI Scans PDFs you drag and drop onto AI chat windows Fires an instant warning with details of what was found Clears the malicious document before it's sent Real attack we tested: A fake Bank of America security notice with hidden white text instructing the AI to ask for your SSN and credit card. Caught instantly. REAL-TIME INPUT PROTECTION Instant warnings before you hit send passwords, social security numbers, credit cards, phishing content, and prompt injection commands. All warnings fire in under 100ms. AI RESPONSE SCANNING After the AI responds, we analyze the output too credential theft attempts, phishing patterns, malicious code hidden in suggestions. Critical threats are blurred until you choose to reveal them. PRIVACY BY DESIGN 100% local analysis. No external servers, ever. No account required. Install and go. No email required. We will never ask for it. No data collection. We have nothing to sell. Minimal permissions. Only what's needed. SUPPORTED PLATFORMS ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot — with warnings available in 17 languages automatically. No premium tier. No upsells. No hidden costs. Just protection. v1.1.7 NEW: Welcome screen on first install — see exactly what's protecting you before you start chatting. IMPROVED: False positive tuning — significantly reduced unnecessary warnings on everyday phrases. "I forgot my password" and "how does social security work" no longer trigger alerts.
