Price Optimizer helps international shoppers understand prices on MediaMarkt Türkiye by converting Turkish lira amounts into a selected currency. The extension detects TRY prices on product pages, category listings, promotional sections, instalment offers, insurance options, and dynamically loaded content. Converted prices are displayed directly in the existing MediaMarkt layout while preserving the website’s typography and visual style. An HTTPS exchange-rate provider is used as a fallback when required. Price conversion is performed locally in the browser. Product names, displayed prices, page content, URLs, and browsing history are not transmitted to the developer or advertisers. The popup may contain a clearly labelled, non-personalized sponsored banner. Advertising is not selected using product information, browsing history, or user profiling.
