Focusan is a website blocker for Chrome that helps you cut distractions and protect your attention. Inspired by Bushidō — calm on the surface, resolute underneath. No telemetry, no remote sync of usage data, no ads. WHAT IT DOES • Block any site at the network layer. Uses Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API, so blocked sites never load — fast and reliable, including SPAs like YouTube. • Schedule blocking by time. Work hours, weekdays, weekends, custom day/time rules, overnight ranges — set it once and forget it. • Daily limits per site. Cap visits or minutes per day. Focusan stays out of your way until you cross the line, then steps in. • Pomodoro focus sessions. Run timed blocks in blocklist or whitelist mode, with a calm timer and a clear bell at the end. • Temporary allowances. When you genuinely need a site, grant yourself a short, time-boxed exception — instead of fighting the blocker. • Local statistics, streaks, and achievements. Quiet motivation.
