Description
Clip articles from any page. HeyNews is an AI newsletter generator that writes drafts in your voice from saved stories. Spending hours every week collecting articles and writing your newsletter? HeyNews is an AI newsletter writer that does the first draft for you, in your voice, not generic AI slop. This extension is the first step. Clip articles as you browse, and HeyNews turns them into a newsletter draft you can actually send. How it works: 1. Install the extension and sign in to your HeyNews account 2. Browse the web. When you find an article your readers would care about, click the HeyNews icon 3. Choose how to save it: - Save as Source: Track this publication for ongoing stories. HeyNews will keep pulling new content from the site so you always have fresh material. - Save as Story: Just add this page as a single story. Use it when you want one specific article in your next issue without subscribing to the whole publication. 4. Open HeyNews and hit "Write Draft." Your AI Writer pulls from your saved stories and writes an issue that matches your tone That last part is what separates HeyNews from other AI newsletter generators. Most tools give you generic output from a prompt box. HeyNews reads your past issues and learns how you actually write: your sentence length, your vocabulary, the way you structure sections, even your sign-off. The result is a Voice Profile that gets better with every issue you publish. What the extension does: - Clips articles from any website with one click - Two save modes: track a publication as a source, or save a single page as a story - Publication switcher: if you run multiple newsletters, pick which one to save to right from the extension. Changes sync back to the web app - Strips ads, navigation, and clutter. Keeps the article text - Syncs saved content to your HeyNews publication instantly - Works on news sites, blogs, Substacks, research papers, anything with text What HeyNews does (the full product): - AI newsletter writer trained on your past issues, not a generic prompt tool - Learns your voice automatically when you connect your newsletter platform (beehiiv, Kit, Substack, and others) - Compose full issues from your saved stories in minutes - Refine drafts with AI chat: "make it shorter," "add more edge," "rewrite the intro". - Subject line and preview text suggestions optimized for open rates - Tracks open rates, click-through rates, and subscriber trends so the AI Writer improves over time Who uses HeyNews? Newsletter writers who are tired of staring at a blank page. Journalists who curate weekly roundups. Solo creators running a paid Substack. Media teams publishing daily digests. If you write a recurring newsletter and want the first draft done for you, this is the tool.
