TradingTune: Strategy Optimizer for TradingView

Description

Automate TradingView's Strategy Tester. Sweep parameter ranges, rank runs in a live table, apply your best settings in one click. 🚀 TradingTune: Strategy Optimizer for TradingView Tired of changing one input, re-running the Strategy Tester, writing down the result, and doing it again a hundred times? TradingTune automates TradingView's Strategy Tester for a strategy you ALREADY HAVE. Point it at your strategy, set min/max/step ranges for your inputs, pick a search method, and TradingTune runs cycle after cycle automatically while results stream in live. You bring a strategy. TradingTune does the grind. Reliably, run after run. No API keys. Nothing to copy by hand. It optimizes the inputs of your existing Pine Script strategy, right on top of the tools you already use. 😩 THE PAIN YOU KNOW TOO WELL - Open inputs, nudge one number, click run, wait. - Squint at the Strategy Tester, copy the result into a spreadsheet. - Repeat. For hours. There is a better way. 🎯 WHAT IT DOES TradingTune turns slow, manual work into a hands-off process. Instead of changing one input, re-running the tester, writing down a number, and repeating, you define the parameter space once and let the extension explore it for you. - Drives TradingView's own Strategy Tester through its UI (no API, no broker connection) - Runs your strategy across the input ranges you choose - Streams every result into a live, sortable table as it finishes - Helps you tune with method, not guesswork 🧠 SEVEN SEARCH METHODS 1. TPE (Bayesian): Recommended default. Learns from every cycle and spends the budget where the payoff is most likely, so it finds high-scoring parameter sets in far fewer backtests. 2. Bisection (Smart Search): A fast, deterministic, resumable three-phase search that brackets the best region of each parameter and zooms in. 3. Bisection then TPE Refine: Runs the full Bisection search, then hands the remaining budget to Bayesian TPE to polish around the peak, all in one run. 4. Simulated Annealing: A probabilistic walk that escapes local optima as it cools. 5. Brute Force: An exhaustive grid sweep that guarantees full coverage of your ranges. Ideal for small spaces. 6. Sequential Improvements: Coordinate descent that tunes one parameter at a time. 7. Random: Uniform random sampling, and the warm-up that bootstraps TPE. Not sure which to use? TradingTune can auto-select a method based on how many parameters you enabled. 📊 LIVE RESULTS TABLE, NO BLACK BOX - Metric columns: net profit, profit factor, win rate, max drawdown, and trade count, plus the difference in net profit versus your baseline - Sort by any column, and shift-click to stack sorts and break ties - Filter with floors on trades, win rate, and profit to collapse hundreds of runs into a short list These are the NAMES of the columns you sort and compare. TradingTune measures and reports them; it does not predict or promise any of them. 👆 APPLY THE CHOSEN SETTINGS IN ONE CLICK Send the chosen parameter set straight back into your TradingView strategy with a single click. 🌍 MULTI-ASSET RETEST Take a promising parameter set and retest it across multiple symbols to check whether the behavior is consistent beyond the single chart it was tuned on. 💾 EXPORT AND IMPORT - Export a full run as a ZIP of CSV files (metadata, parameters, settings, and per-cycle results) for your own spreadsheets and analysis - Import a saved run later to pick up where you left off 🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Your strategies, parameters, and results are processed and stored locally in your browser, and never leave the device - A daily cycle count and an account ID sync to meter the free tier; nothing else is uploaded - Optional Pro (which removes the daily limit) is handled by a third-party payment processor - No TradingView API keys are ever required 🧪 RIGOR OVER HYPE TradingTune is a measurement and comparison tool, not a promise. It automates the tedious work of exploring a parameter space and lays the numbers out plainly so YOU can compare and decide. It does not tell you what to trade, and it does not claim any outcome. 💰 FREE TO START Free daily tier; optional Pro removes the limit. 🧩 WORKS WHERE YOU WORK Chrome, Brave, and other Chromium browsers. Seven methods, a live sortable table, one-click apply, multi-asset retest, and CSV export/import, all in a side panel next to your chart. TradingTune is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TradingView. It is not financial advice, does not sell strategies or trading signals, does not execute trades, and does not connect to any broker. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
