Make reaching for your own learnings as easy and as pleasant as reaching for a feed, with a real memory rep hiding under the surface, so that watching turns into knowing. Retention is not a memory problem. It is an attention problem. Pocket died and Readwise feels like a chore for the same reason: remembering was framed as homework, and homework loses every single time it competes against an infinite feed that hundreds of people engineered to feel good. You do not beat that feed by being more disciplined. You beat it by being a better thing to open. So the goal is not "help people remember." The goal is to win the open. If opening your saved learnings is as good a hit as opening Instagram, the remembering takes care of itself.
