A van side read from two and a half metres does not need the resolution of a business card, so a fixed 300 dpi rule tells you nothing useful. Print Size Check reports three tiers: Close-up, 150 dpi — decals, small signs and exhibition panels read at arm's length Wrap panels, 72 dpi — van sides, doors and bonnets viewed from one to three metres Large panels, 40 dpi — box sides, hoardings and fascias viewed from five metres or more The panel check then compares the image against what that specific panel needs at its normal viewing distance, assuming the graphic fills the panel. VECTOR FILES SVG, AI, EPS, PDF and CDR are recognised as scalable and reported as such, rather than being measured as pixels. PRIVACY Nothing is collected, stored or transmitted. All measuring happens locally in your browser. The extension has no access to any website until you click it, and no access at all once you close the panel. No accounts, no analytics, no adverts.
