Configurable banner per company. Permission per domain. D365 Multicompany Banner Extension is a specialized productivity tool designed for users working within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) environments who need clear visual distinctions between multiple companies, legal entities, or different operational instances such as sandbox, test, and production. This extension enhances navigational clarity and reduces the risk of costly errors by letting users assign customized, color-coded banners that identify the current company or environment directly within their browser interface. Once installed, the extension offers an intuitive popup configuration panel that empowers users to define how banners appear, which URLs they apply to, and the associated colors for each company or entity. By supporting a range of URL patterns, it adapts seamlessly to various D365FO deployments, whether local development instances, testing environments, or live production setups. The extension’s smart detection system analyzes URL queries or page elements to determine the active company and then injects a prominent banner that is both draggable and resizable, allowing users to position it anywhere on their screen to best fit their workflow. This banner updates dynamically in real time as users switch companies or move between environments, ensuring persistent accuracy and reducing confusion during complex, multi-entity work. Configuration changes such as adding, editing, or deleting company-color pairings are easily managed through the popup, with all data synchronized across devices using standard browser storage capabilities. For advanced scenarios, users can tailor URL patterns to precisely dictate when and where banners appear, optimizing relevance and minimizing distractions. The D365 Multicompany Banner Extension is built on modern Manifest V3 standards, employing service workers and content scripts to deliver a secure, efficient experience. Importantly, it respects user privacy by functioning solely within local browser storage without collecting or transmitting any personal or sensitive data. This makes it an excellent productivity companion for Dynamics 365 consultants, system administrators, and any professional managing multiple companies or legal entities within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem. The extension’s clean, non-intrusive design integrates smoothly into daily workflows, offering dependable visual cues that support safer and more confident navigation across complex D365FO landscapes. Key Features: * Customizable, color-coded banners for multiple D365FO companies and environments, providing instant visual differentiation. * Flexible support for diverse URL patterns, enabling use across local, test, sandbox, and production Dynamics 365 instances. * User-friendly popup interface for managing company tags and colors with a responsive and modern design. * Intelligent detection of the active company via URL parameters or page content to ensure accurate banner display. * Draggable and resizable banner functionality, giving users freedom to position visual cues optimally on their screen. * Real-time banner updates in response to company or environment switches, maintaining consistent visual feedback. * Cross-device configuration synchronization using browser storage, so user preferences persist everywhere. How It Works: 1. Install the extension and pin it in your browser toolbar for quick access. 2.
