A fast scratchpad for quick notes — star, tag, color-code, and file into folders. No account. Optional Chrome Sync. QuickNotes is a scratchpad that lives one click away in your toolbar. Open it, type, hit save — no sign-up, no setup, no server on the other end. CAPTURE FAST - Click the icon or use the keyboard shortcut (customizable at chrome://extensions/shortcuts) to jump straight into a blank note - Ctrl/Cmd+Enter to save without touching the mouse - Your in-progress draft is remembered even if you close the popup mid-thought ORGANIZE YOUR WAY - Star the notes that matter — they stay pinned to the top - Tag notes and filter by tag with one click - File notes into folders, filter by folder - Color-code notes like sticky notes — pick from 8 colors - Sort by newest, oldest, or A–Z - Search across text, tags, and folders EDIT ANYTIME - Full inline editing — text, tags, folder, and color, all after the fact - Accidentally deleted something? A 5-second Undo has you covered YOUR DATA, YOUR CALL - Notes are stored locally in your browser by default — nothing is sent anywhere, because there's nowhere for it to go - Want your notes on your other computers? Flip on the optional Chrome Sync toggle and they'll follow your Google account, the same way your bookmarks do. It's off by default, and turning it off again brings your notes back to local-only storage - Export everything to a plain .txt file whenever you want a backup QuickNotes collects no analytics, shows no ads, and doesn't ask you to create an account.
