Persian Live Dub translates English speech playing in your current Chrome tab into spoken Persian in near real time. It is designed for Persian-speaking users who want to follow English videos, online courses, lectures, interviews, podcasts, and other spoken content without constantly reading subtitles. Key features: • Live English-to-Persian speech translation • Works with audio from the active Chrome tab • Adjustable original English and Persian voice levels • Automatic connection recovery for longer sessions • Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): each user supplies their own Gemini API key • No account or application backend required How it works: 1. Add your own Gemini API key and verify it. 2. Open a normal Chrome tab playing English audio. 3. Start Persian Live Dub. 4. The selected tab audio is sent directly to Google Gemini for live translation, and the Persian audio is played back in Chrome. Gemini API availability, quotas, and usage terms vary by region and account. Privacy: Persian Live Dub does not operate its own server for processing tab audio. The audio from the selected tab is sent directly to Google Gemini because this is required to provide live translation. Your Gemini API key is also sent to Google to authenticate API requests. You can choose whether to keep your API key only for the current browser session or remember it on your device.
