Description
This extension generates credit attribution from a Creative Commons Youtube Video. The YouTube Creative Commons Attribution Generator is a must-have tool for content creators, journalists, educators, and anyone who frequently uses YouTube's vast library of Creative Commons-licensed videos. This extension ensures that you're correctly attributing Creative Commons content according to the license's requirements, fostering a respectful and lawful online content community. The generated attribution follows the template: "This video is based on '##title##' by '##creator##', licensed under CC BY 3.0, and available at ##url##". Simply install the extension and use it on any YouTube video watch page. With a single click, it automatically fetches the video title, the creator's name, and the video URL, and generates the attribution text. But that's not all! If you want to adjust the wording or add additional information, you can customize the template in the extension's options page. This allows you to adapt the attribution to fit your unique style or specific requirements. Please note: This extension only functions on YouTube video watch pages, as it needs to access specific video information to generate the correct attribution. Stay compliant with Creative Commons licenses and show appreciation to the original creators with the YouTube Creative Commons Attribution Generator!
