If Chrome is closed when a reminder is due, it will fire the next time Chrome opens. ⚠️ The Remind Me button works on the full LinkedIn messaging page (linkedin.com/messaging/). It is not available in LinkedIn's mini chat bubbles at the bottom of the screen. ⚠️ Occasionally LinkedIn updates its interface which may cause the button to disappear temporarily.
