Description
Create privacy-first behavioral evidence while writing in supported browser editors. Hummint Proof Companion creates a privacy-first, local record of the writing process while you work in Google Docs, Notion, and Word for the web. After explicit consent, the extension records aggregate writing signals such as typed and deleted character counts, paste activity, active writing time, aggregate rhythm, and chained SHA-256 checkpoints. Document text, page titles, raw URLs, credentials, and identity are not retained or transmitted. The document path and pasted text are processed temporarily on the device only to calculate identifiers, lengths, and one-way hashes. Main features: - Works with Google Docs, Notion, and Word for the web/SharePoint - Requires explicit consent before recording - Stores evidence locally on the user’s device - Records aggregate writing activity without storing typed characters - Creates chained SHA-256 checkpoints - Verifies the checkpoint chain before export - Exports a portable local JSON receipt - Lets users pause, resume, end, export, or delete their sessions - Provides a persistent side panel while writing - Opens Hummint workflows through a user-initiated action Hummint Proof Companion is not an AI detector. It does not automatically prove identity, originality, copyright ownership, or that no external assistance was used. Its local receipt strengthens process traceability but is not equivalent to native Hummint certification or legal proof.
