Disable AI Overview on your screen by hiding Google AI Overview panels and AI Mode tabs while keeping regular search results. The extension hides recognized Google AI Overview panels on supported desktop Chrome search pages, helping you focus on the results you came to see. It can also hide the AI Mode tab when the tab is clearly identified. The extension is designed to leave normal result links and built-in Google tools in place. It uses a cautious detector: when a page structure is unfamiliar, it leaves the content visible instead of hiding a broad results container. You can pause the blocker in one click and restore hidden content immediately. Disable AI Overview runs locally in Chrome. It does not collect your search queries, browsing history, or search results. Your on/off preferences are saved in Chrome's local extension storage. No account is required, and the basic blocker is free. Google controls its own results page and can change its layout. The extension changes only what is displayed in your browser; it does not turn off Google's server-side AI features. Supported domains in this release are google.com, google.co.uk, google.ca, and google.com.au.
