Transfers verified vehicle facts and approved photos into Facebook Marketplace for final human review. LotProof helps vehicle sellers prepare a Facebook Marketplace vehicle listing from a dealership inventory page. A LotProof Pro subscription or trial activation is required. WHAT'S NEW IN 1.1.13 • Original photo framing: retained photos are uploaded without automatic cropping, resizing or re-encoding by LotProof. This also protects saved scans carrying old crop instructions. Dealer branding present in an original may remain; review photos before posting. Facebook controls its own preview display and image processing. • Ford truck VIN checks recognize equivalent Super Duty F-350 SRW / F-350 model names. Genuine model, wheel configuration, year and make conflicts still require resolution. • Approval comparisons tolerate Chrome reordering stored fields while continuing to reject changed vehicle facts. • Schema.org condition codes display as readable labels such as Used, instead of metadata links. • A simpler Scan → Review → Caption workflow, guided My Voice setup, and optional web-app imports under Advanced tools. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a dealership vehicle detail page and click Scan this vehicle page. 2. Review the extracted vehicle facts, any conflicts and the photo count, then approve the facts. 3. Choose a caption tone and length, then click Create caption. Refresh caption revises the wording while keeping the reviewed facts. 4. Open Marketplace and click Fill listing. 5. Review every field and attached photo yourself before publishing. LotProof never clicks the final Publish button. MY VOICE AND CAPTION CONTROLS Choose Straightforward, Conversational, Enthusiastic, Premium or My Voice, plus caption length and optional emoji. To set up My Voice, paste 3–5 posts you wrote, click Review my style, adjust the inferred choices, then Save My Voice. Select My Voice and refresh the caption. Examples stay on your device; this matches writing style from text and does not record your voice or train a model. Local wording is the default. Optional server-assisted wording requires a connected service and may be unavailable until enabled. The LotProof web app connection is optional and is only needed to import vehicles prepared in that separate website. It is under Advanced tools; dealership-page scanning works without it. VEHICLE FACTS AND PHOTOS LotProof extracts available year, make, model, trim, VIN, mileage, price, colors, engine, transmission, drivetrain, fuel and body style. It uses rule-based normalization and may cross-check a VIN with NHTSA vPIC. Results can be incomplete or inferred and require your review; no accuracy guarantee is made. Photo rules remove duplicate URLs and recognized generic, promotional and engine images, and limit attachments to 20 photos. Retained source files keep their original framing. Photos that cannot be safely downloaded may be skipped. Inspect every photo before publishing. The current workflow defaults Marketplace condition to Excellent; confirm or change it in Facebook. VINs are retained in the description while the VIN decoder field is left empty. Reported conflicts require correction; the extension does not disable Facebook's own Publish control. Prepared vehicle data is stored in Chrome's local extension storage. If you explicitly select server-assisted wording and request a revision when the service is available, current vehicle facts, style choices and recent caption openings/angles are sent to LotProof's caption service. Limited style and wording-plan inputs are sent to OpenAI; pasted My Voice examples are not sent. Activation keys and an installation ID are sent to LotProof's access service, VIN and model year may be sent to NHTSA, photos are fetched from their source hosts, and approved content is entered into Facebook on your request.
