Supercharge Discogs for crate digging: styles at a glance, quick listen, playlists, tags and alerts for new copies. Discogs for Diggers adds the information you actually need while digging, right where you're already looking — no extra tabs, no copy-pasting release IDs. WHAT IT DOES • Styles and genres at a glance Every listing on seller pages, search results, discographies, lists, your collection and your wantlist gets its styles shown as chips, plus the community have/want counts. No more opening ten tabs to find out which record is the techno one. • Quick listen, without leaving the page A ▶ button on each record plays the videos Discogs has for it, in a small floating player. Includes a turntable-style pitch fader (±6/±10/±16/WIDE) with Master Tempo, so you can hear how a track sits at the tempo you'd actually play it. • Playlists in the side panel Send records to a side-panel playlist and listen through them while you keep browsing. Audio-only by default, keyboard shortcuts, volume, drag to reorder. Add every record on a page to a playlist with one click. • Your own tags Colour-coded tags you define ("warm up", "peak time", "to check"), assigned to any record and visible everywhere the extension paints. • Alerts for new copies on sale Mark records with the bell and get a notification when a NEW copy is listed — not just "the count went up". Useful for the ones you've been chasing for years. • Gem badge A 💎 marks records with an unusually high want/have ratio and good ratings, using thresholds you can calibrate. • Best buying option On a release's marketplace page, highlights the cheapest total (price + shipping) among the offers that meet your minimum seller rating and media condition. • Wantlist notes where you need them See and edit your wantlist notes directly on seller pages, next to the copy for sale. • Address book Save shipping addresses once and apply them to your Discogs buyer settings without retyping. • Bilingual Full English and Spanish interface. By default it follows your Discogs account language; you can force either one from the settings without changing Discogs itself. SETUP When you install it, a welcome screen walks you through connecting your Discogs account: one button takes you to generate a free personal token, you paste it back, and it confirms you're connected. Two clicks, no configuration hunting. The token lets the extension read your collection and wantlist and make the changes you ask for (add to wantlist, edit notes). It is verified when you paste it and stored only on your computer. Styles, quick listen, playlists and tags work even without it. PRIVACY No server, no analytics, no telemetry.
