Description
AI-first visual editor for GrowthBook experiments. Opens in the Chrome side panel. The GrowthBook Visual Editor extension lets you create A/B test variations on your own websites by describing changes in plain English, no HTML/CSS/JS knowledge required. Changes can be made via prompt, or manually with a fully featured WYSIWYG editor. After connecting to your GrowthBook account, open the side panel on any page and describe the changes you want to make. You can optionally pick elements to give the AI context. Some examples: "make this button green and round the corners", "Give me some alternative titles that are more focused on AI", or "replace this image with something more cheerful," and the editor generates the variation, previews it on the page, and saves it to your GrowthBook experiment when you're ready to start. You can import directly from a mockup or use Figma. This editor is also connected to a powerful Image editor that can be used to generate alternative images or tweaks to existing images. What you can do: • AI prompts that translate plain English into real DOM changes • Full manual editor with structured controls for text, typography, layout, background, spacing, and visibility • AI image generation and manipulation plus a reusable image library for swapping product shots or backgrounds • Import from Figma or upload images and have them convert to HTML to test • Global CSS and JS per variation for changes that don't fit a single element • Multiple variations and multi-page experiments • Side panel UI that stays out of the way of the page you're editing • Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and German Why it's different: • AI-first visual editor that makes testing effortless. • Durable selectors for modern sites. Your variations keep working across deploys. • Built on Chrome's native side panel, so the page renders exactly as your users see it: no in-page overlay, no z-index conflicts, no hidden elements. • One-click connect: open the side panel, click "Connect with GrowthBook," and the extension is linked to your account. Requirements: • A GrowthBook account (works on Cloud or self-hosted) Documentation: docs.growthbook.io/app/visual
