A private decision-efficiency ledger for your browser. Cognitive Ledger groups your normal browsing into local sessions with domains only (no full URLs), timing, tab/domain switches, inferred intent, a cognitive cost index, fragmentation signals, and outcomes you mark. Data stays in your browser profile; optional daily report and trends; JSON export. Cognitive Ledger is a Manifest V3 extension that records completed browsing sessions on your device: primary domain per session, duration, tab and domain switches, revisits, a cognitive cost index, fragmentation and loop-related signals, a coarse intent label from domain rules plus your own domain → intent map, and success / partial / failed outcomes you choose. Domains only — not full URLs, paths, or search text. No page content, keystrokes, or screenshots. Incognito is not tracked. Popup: current session, today’s summary, recent sessions, end session & mark outcome, links to options and reports. Options: thresholds, notifications, data retention, export/clear, bookmark-based hostname import (optional permission), optional Tranco CSV paste or fetch for tranco-list.eu only (optional host permission). Reports: “yesterday” daily insight page and trends / two‑day compare (local). Free tier includes core stats and outcomes chart on the daily insight; Premium (when licensed) adds further charts, per-session table, and extended methodology on that page.
