Translate App Store Connect listings — DeepL (BYOK) or MetaMate cloud (subscription). MetaMate is the App Store Connect translator and App Store Optimization (ASO) toolkit built for iOS app developers, indie makers, and mobile marketing teams who need to localize app metadata fast and rank in every market they ship to. Open any App Store Connect listing — the App Info page, the in-flight version page, or the Ratings & Reviews dashboard — and MetaMate injects a clean, native-feeling control panel right inside Apple’s editor. From there, you can translate your app title, subtitle, app description, keywords field, promotional text, “What’s New” release notes, support URL, and marketing URL into 57 Apple-supported locales in a single click. WHO IT’S FOR - iOS app developers shipping to global App Store markets - ASO specialists running App Store keyword optimization at scale - Indie developers who don’t have a localization budget - Agencies managing multi-app, multi-language App Store listings - Mobile growth teams launching in Tier 1, Tier 2 and emerging markets CORE FEATURES — APP STORE CONNECT TRANSLATION - One-click translate of any field across every locale your app supports - Bulk “Translate All Fields” pipeline with character-limit awareness (30 / 100 / 170 / 4000 chars enforced for title, keywords, promotional text, description) - “What’s New” / release notes translator with version-aware detection on the in-flight build page - Duplicate keyword checker — catches the same keyword reused across locales before you hit Save - Smart truncation that respects word boundaries when output exceeds Apple’s limits LANGUAGE COVERAGE — 57 APPLE LOCALES Turkish, English (US, UK, Canada, Australia), German, French (FR, CA), Spanish (Spain, Latin America, Mexico), Italian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Portuguese (Brazil, Portugal), Arabic, Russian, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Croatian, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Catalan, Slovenian and more — every locale Apple actually exposes in App Store Connect. ASO WIZARD — AI-POWERED APP STORE OPTIMIZATION Pick a primary locale, let MetaMate pull your current metadata, search the iTunes catalog for up to three direct competitors, and receive AI-generated suggestions for your App Store title, subtitle, keyword field, promotional text, and full app description — each one annotated with rationale and character-limit checks. Built for ASO marketers who want competitor keyword research, App Store keyword optimization, and metadata copywriting in one workflow. RATINGS & REVIEWS DASHBOARD On the App Store Connect Ratings page, MetaMate adds a live ratings dashboard: overall App Store rating, total rating count, current-version rating breakdown, and a 5-star to 1-star distribution histogram, plus the latest written reviews scraped straight from your app’s page. Track App Store reviews and rating trends without leaving the dashboard. BULK IMPORT & EXPORT — CSV & JSON Export every localized field for every locale into CSV or JSON in a single click. Edit in Google Sheets, Excel, or your favorite spreadsheet, then re-import via the same panel — MetaMate calls the App Store Connect API for you, handles 409 conflicts on duplicate locales, and reports per-locale success or failure. TWO TRANSLATION MODES — BYOK OR SUBSCRIPTION - BYOK (Bring Your Own Key): paste your DeepL Free or DeepL Pro API key and pay nothing extra. MetaMate routes through DeepL first, with a Google Translate fallback for the 14 Apple locales DeepL doesn’t cover (Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Malay, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Croatian, Catalan). - MetaMate AI subscription: skip the API key, get higher-quality AI translation tuned for App Store metadata, unlock the ASO Wizard, competitor lookup, and unlimited cloud translation. PRIVACY, SAFETY & PERFORMANCE - Manifest V3, content-script-only, no scraping outside App Store Connect - No PII collected; your DeepL key is stored locally in chrome.storage - Session tokens are SHA-256 hashed server-side; raw tokens never logged - Built for Chrome, Edge, Brave and any Chromium-based browser - Dark mode supported across the entire injected UI WHY METAMATE BEATS COPY-PASTING INTO GOOGLE TRANSLATE Manual App Store localization means juggling 57 tabs, blowing through character limits, missing duplicate keywords across locales, and forgetting which version your “What’s New” belongs to. MetaMate automates the App Store Connect translation workflow end-to-end: detect every field, translate into every locale, enforce every character limit, surface every duplicate keyword, and save you days per release cycle. Install MetaMate, open App Store Connect, and ship your next app update fully localized in minutes. 🔗 LINKS: • Get free DeepL API key: https://www.deepl.com/pro-api • App Store Connect: https://appstoreconnect.apple.com
