An autonomous agent that discovers and invokes a website's WebMCP tools to complete tasks on your behalf. Refraktor is a design-conformance aware, general-purpose agent for the emerging WebMCP standard. When visiting a page that registers tools on document.modelContext, Refraktor discovers those tools and lets you drive them in plain language from a side-panel chat. It reads each tool's schema and calls it with the right arguments, chaining calls to complete a task. It is not tied to any one site: tool names, schemas, and results are all discovered at runtime. Point it at any WebMCP-enabled page. • Bring your own key. Refraktor uses Google's Gemini API with a key you supply; the key is stored locally and sent only to Google. • Minimal access by default. Out of the box it touches a page only when you click its toolbar icon. An optional one-click "automatic scanning" setting (revocable anytime) lets it discover tools on every page if you want that. • Local-first. No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, nothing sent to our servers. WebMCP is currently behind a Chrome flag on most sites.
