Use Autocue Teleprompter, a teleprompter app for video recording with a scrolling script, webcam recorder, and mirror mode. 🎬 SPEAK NATURALLY ON CAMERA Autocue Teleprompter turns Chrome into a prompting and video workspace. Read a scrolling script near the webcam lens while capturing camera and microphone media. The words stay onscreen but never appear in the saved .webm file. Use this teleprompter app for recording videos such as lessons, demos, presentations, sales messages, tutorials, interviews, announcements, and talking-head video. Keep delivery steady without memorizing every line or switching between a script reader and video recorder. 🎤 READ WITH A CLEAR PROMPT The webcam teleprompter places moving text over the live preview. Reading-line markers keep your eyes near the lens, while adjustable pace and layout help with long passages. • Start smooth scrolling text when ready • Pause or resume with the spacebar • Reset the autocue to rehearse • Change pace without rebuilding the script • Keep source words visible during the session 🎥 CAPTURE A CLEAN RESULT For webcam recording, the built-in webcam recorder captures your camera and microphone. Controls and the autocue overlay stay outside the finished media. Preview each take, then download the .webm file. This video recording teleprompter uses five local steps: 1️⃣ Choose a camera and microphone 2️⃣ Paste prepared text or open a saved item 3️⃣ Adjust the reading setup and optional countdown 4️⃣ Start, speak, and stop when the take is complete 5️⃣ Preview and download the finished file ⚙️ SET THE READING VIEW Set the autocue before you begin, then keep live controls close during delivery. - Set scroll speed and font size - Widen or narrow the reading column - Change text-background opacity for contrast A teleprompter mirror option flips the autocue for compatible glass setups. You can also enable a 3·2·1 countdown before capture. 📚 BUILD A REUSABLE LIBRARY Save material instead of pasting the same lines for every take. The local autocue library helps you: ➤ Store introductions and recurring calls to action ➤ Rename or revise lesson notes and presentation outlines ➤ Reopen a recent script when the studio starts ➤ Rehearse complete video scripts before filming The extension stores the library and preferences in Chrome local storage. Material remains available until you edit it, delete it, or remove the extension data. 🌍 PREPARE MULTILINGUAL CONTENT The interface is localized in 14 languages. When Chrome supports its on-device Translator API, create another language version without sending text to an external service. ▸ Prepare localized product walkthroughs ▸ Adapt training notes for another audience ▸ Keep the original and translated versions in your library ▸ Review the new wording before starting a take 🔒 KEEP THE WORKFLOW PRIVATE Camera, microphone, text, settings, and media are handled locally in the browser. This autocue and teleprompter software has no host permissions, requires no account, and includes no analytics or tracking. • Camera and microphone access uses Chrome’s normal permission prompt • Saved items and preferences stay in local browser storage • Captured media is not uploaded to a server 🎯 USE IT FOR REAL PROJECTS The video teleprompter fits creators that speak directly to an audience. 1. Record webcam video for a creator update 2. Use a presentation recorder for a lesson or training module 3. Deliver a product demonstration or business briefing 4. Prepare a polished sales message 5. Film an interview introduction or announcement 6. Create short-form clips with a consistent pace ❓ COMMON QUESTIONS Q: Does the scrolling text appear in the finished media? A: No. It is a separate screen layer; only the selected camera and microphone stream is captured. Q: Can I adjust the autocue setup before a take? A: Yes. Change speed, font size, width, opacity, mirror mode, and the countdown from the studio controls. Q: What format is created? A: The teleprompter recorder works as a camera recorder and creates a .webm file using formats available in your browser and hardware. Q: Is an account or upload step required? A: No. Open the extension, add an autocue script, capture your take, inspect it, and download it directly. 🚀 MOVE FROM WORDS TO DELIVERY This teleprompter for video recording keeps preparation, prompting, clean video, preview, and download together in one private Chrome workspace. Set your autocue script, look near the lens, speak with confidence, and keep the video file on your device.
