Description
Local-first utilities in your browser side panel Sidebar Tools keeps practical utilities in your browser side panel, so you can handle quick conversion and formatting tasks without opening another search tab. It is built for quick work: one task per entry, fast search with match context, recent shortcuts, and a clean white grid interface that stays readable in a narrow sidebar. ### Core Purpose Sidebar Tools is a unified side-panel utility suite for lightweight format conversion and data transformation. The built-in tools support the same user goal: completing small browser utility tasks without interrupting the current workflow. ### What's Included **Built-in sidebar tools** Core tools run locally in your browser for speed and privacy. They cover common everyday tasks across a few related workflows: - Text encoding and decoding - JSON cleanup and validation - Lightweight image adjustment - Developer-format helpers - Design and utility shortcuts **AIToo web links** For heavier workflows, the extension links to full AIToo web tools on aitoo.app. These open in a normal browser tab when a task needs more room than the side panel. ### Why Use Sidebar Tools - **No tab-hopping** - keep tools beside your current page - **Local-first core tools** - built-in tools process data in your browser - **Search that explains results** - matching descriptions show why a tool appeared - **Recent shortcuts** - frequently used tools stay near the top - **No ads. No tracking.** - a focused utility panel, not a content feed ### Good For **Web developers** - Format and validate JSON responses - Decode JWT tokens - Encode URL parameters **Designers and creators** - Resize or crop images - Convert common image formats - Generate quick QR codes or color palettes **Technical writers and testers** - Convert text case - Generate lorem ipsum text - Create random test email addresses ### Privacy Built-in tools run locally in your browser. The extension does not collect, store, or transmit your input. Links to advanced AIToo web tools open aitoo.app in a normal browser tab for full-page workflows. ### How It Works 1. Open Sidebar Tools from the extension icon. 2. Search or browse by category. 3. Use a built-in tool directly in the side panel. 4.
