Context Window Token counter for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok & Copilot. By Joaquín Ruiz, AI Expert from Spain youtube.com/@jokioki AI TOKEN COUNTER — Know exactly how many tokens you have left Are you hitting the context window limit without warning? Losing important parts of your conversation because you ran out of tokens? AI Token COunter solves that. This free Chrome extension shows you a real-time token counter and context window usage indicator directly on the page — no copy-pasting, no manual counting. SUPPORTED PLATFORMS ────────────────────────────── • ChatGPT (OpenAI) — 128,000 token context window • Claude (Anthropic) — 200,000 token context window • Gemini (Google) — 1,000,000 token context window • Copilot (Microsoft) — 128,000 token context window • Grok (xAI) — 131,000 token context window KEY FEATURES ────────────────────────────── • Real-time token estimation based on conversation text • Circular progress bar showing % of context window used • Color-coded alerts: green → yellow → red as you approach the limit • Platform name displayed automatically (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini…) • Draggable floating widget — move it anywhere on screen • Works on all 5 major AI platforms with a single extension • Lightweight — no data collection, no external requests HOW TO USE ────────────────────────────── • Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. • Open any of the supported AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or Grok). • Start chatting! The tracking widget will automatically appear on your screen. • Drag and drop the floating counter anywhere on the page to perfectly fit your workflow. WHO IS IT FOR? ────────────────────────────── • Developers and engineers using AI APIs and chat interfaces • Content creators working with long AI-generated documents • Researchers and students using Claude or Gemini for analysis • Anyone who has ever seen "context limit reached" and lost work • Power users who push AI assistants to their full capacity WHY DOES TOKEN COUNT MATTER? ────────────────────────────── Every AI model has a context window — the maximum number of tokens (words + punctuation) it can process in a single conversation. When you exceed that limit, the model starts forgetting the beginning of the conversation, leading to inconsistent or incorrect responses. Knowing how many tokens you've used helps you: → Avoid unexpected context resets mid-task → Plan long multi-step workflows with AI → Understand when to start a new conversation → Get more predictable, accurate AI responses ABOUT THE AUTHOR ────────────────────────────── Created by Joaquín Ruiz — Director of AI & Innovation at Flat 101, Computer Engineer with 20+ years of experience, and AI Expert based in Zaragoza, Spain. 📺 YouTube — AI for Developers (in Spanish): youtube.com/@jokioki 📚 Books on Artificial Intelligence: - El motor de la Inteligencia Artificial → amzn.eu/d/083CTN3U - Programar con Inteligencia Artificial → amzn.eu/d/eK4f73N - Explora la Inteligencia Artificial → amzn.eu/d/dSwYhue 🌐 jokiruiz.com PRIVACY ────────────────────────────── AI Token COunter reads conversation text only to count tokens locally in your browser.
