Analyzes YouTube engagement (views, likes, dislikes, comments) and shows a data-driven authenticity verdict below the view count. Tired of not knowing if a video is genuinely popular or just gamed? YT Engagement Verdict scores every YouTube video you watch and renders a verdict right below the view count. The four verdicts: - 🤖 View Botted — engagement is suspiciously low for the view count - 💩 Hot Garbage — people watched but didn't engage or actively disliked it - 👍 Solid Video — healthy engagement consistent with genuine viewership - 🔥 Legit on Fire — exceptional across all signals Scoring uses log-normalized engagement decay tiers based on published academic research. A flat percentage threshold doesn't work because engagement naturally drops as view counts grow — this extension accounts for that. Selectors auto-update from GitHub (same pattern as uBlock Origin's filter lists), so when YouTube changes its DOM the extension stays working without a reinstall. No accounts required.
