Ask AI from the address bar: streaming answers with clickable results. Bring your own free Google AI key; Agnes backup included. AI Search - Ask AI from the Address Bar Streaming AI answers with clickable sources, right from the omnibox Short description: AI answers in your address bar: type ai + Space. Streaming summaries with sources. Your free Google or Agnes key. Full description: AI Search - Ask AI from the Address Bar puts streaming AI answers one keystroke away. Type ai, hit Space, ask anything: a summary streams in live beside a source list of real, clickable results - each with its site icon, dead-link filtering, and like/hide training for future answers. Three ways to search: - Omnibox keyword: ai + Space in any address bar - Hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+Y anywhere (remappable in chrome://extensions/shortcuts) - Toolbar button opens the search home page Two providers, your keys: - Google AI Studio (default): paste a free key from aistudio.google.com/apikey - Agnes (backup): paste a free key from agnes-ai.com and flip the provider toggle whenever Google's free quota is spent - Both keys stay on your device and travel only in request headers - never in URLs, never to us - Switch providers mid-failure: a spent quota offers a one-click "Try with Agnes instead" retry Thoughtful results: - Source rows carry site icons, familiarity marks, and trust badges - Dead links are probed and filtered automatically (toggleable) - Short / Standard / Detailed answer lengths, per search or by default - Show more fetches extra sources without rewriting the summary Privacy: - Bring-your-own-key: no account, no analytics, no tracking - Keys and favorites live in on-device storage only
