CSS overrides set transition and animation durations to 1 ms on carousel track elements. Using 1 ms (not 0) ensures carousel libraries that wait for transitionend / animationend events stay in a consistent state and don't break. 2. JavaScript API calls stop library autoplay where supported. A MutationObserver watches for carousels injected dynamically after page load. Works with all major carousel and slider libraries out of the box.
